Thinkers in Education (TiE) deliver specialist CSI and STEM workshops that inspire & challenge students in Years 5-13 to really think and communicate.
With thrilling Crime Scene Investigation, Space Science and Medical Crisis themed workshops - recommended by every host school since 2001 - TiE are confident we can help you to meet your objectives.
You can include up to 36 pupils per session in our Standard Workshops and up to 72 pupils per session in our Large Group workshops. This allows you to include between 24-180 pupils per day and discounts are offered on consecutive day bookings.
“The best external company we have ever used. The level of analysis of pupil performance was second to none. A thoroughly amazing experience.”
K Keys, G&T Coordinator, Perins School, Hants
Every workshop is fully hands-on and carefully designed to inspire and challenge students through exciting STEM (Science-Technology-Engineering-Mathematics) activities.
Our themed activity days place students in the heart of an exciting story and unlock unique opportunities to introduce time-effective, exciting and emotive learning experiences.
There is a wide range of unique workshop options to involve all ages. The level of engagement is extraordinary.
Each event can be delivered as a specialist programme for Able, Gifted and Talented education or as a carefully differentiated STEM version.
“Excellent teachers with astonishing energy levels! I really cannot think of a single way this programme could be improved – the kids simply loved it.”
P Flynn, Head of Biology, Lymm High School, Cheshire, UK
One of the reasons we have been recommended by every host school since 2001 is because we make the whole process incredibly easy for schools to host. We can include marketing materials to send home to promote your event beforehand, certificates of achievement for every participant and medals for winning players.
We collect student feedback at the end of the workshop, scan the comments and leave them with the school before exiting the site. Individual and group performance reports can be processed to be sent to the school after the workshop to help with your own assessments.
The presentation team will bring all audio visual equipment (including a big screen, projector, laptops, sound system and voting systems) in addition to all resources and equipment to make it an extra special event for your students. Your school just need to provide a suitably sized room, tables, chairs & participants!
All are delivered by our full-time teams and all Lead Presenters are highly experienced teachers from STEM subjects. It makes a huge difference to classroom management and student engagement.
