...Prepare for an adventure that will literally take your breath away as intrepid time traveller, Daisy whisks you all on a historic adventure back to the year 1666!
Meet Samuel Pepys and tour medieval London in the live 'Great fire of London' show as Daisy searches for clues to discover how the great fire started and destroyed so much of the old City. Learn key facts about life in the 17th century and events that led up to the great fire. See buildings as they were and learn how Christopher Wren redesigned the city after the fire and rebuilt famous landmarks like St Pauls.
Children will then experience life as a child during Stuart times in the KS1/KS2 workshops as they dress up and take on roles to bring the period to life! You might also get a visit from the Plague Doctor as the pandemic continues to claim thousands of lives in the old narrow streets of London!
The 'Great fire of London' live show is great for a whole school assembly and the Workshops can be enjoyed by up to 90 children throughout the day.
This production is brought to life by Russell and Dawn from 'Real History Alive' who's productions have enjoyed rave reviews throughout the Country. We also cover The Tudors, WWII, The Victorians and Space so please take a look at our web site (realhistoryalive.com).
Our workshops are all interactive, cross curricular and age appropriate to give the children the best experience possible.
Please message us for the best prices and availability and we hope to meet you soon for a fabulous trip to the 17th Century!
