Sirius Astronomy is an astronomy education and outreach organisation run by Paul Hill, a qualified teacher, fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society and Space Ambassador with ESERO/ESA. Paul has experience in a range of schools and is special needs trained.

Paul can deliver a range of workshops and events around astronomy and space science including solar and night time astronomy, experiments looking for life on other worlds, comets and planets, science and astronomy history as well as workshops on rockets and satellites.

Workshops can be tailored to a schools needs and curriculum plans and Paul is happy to deliver multiple sessions to large groups. Workshops can be tailored to all ability levels and Paul is trained in the use of makaton signing to support work with students that have communication difficulties.

A range of telescopes and astronomy equipment can be brought to schools that students can learn to use during the course of a session, including imaging with CCD cameras.
