Travel back in time with ‘Polly’ to the 1940′s and experience what it might have been like to be an evacuee during World War II. Pack your suitcase and get ready to leave your hometown for the country, but unexpectedly end up in London in the middle of an air raid. During the workshop the children will:
Create images of life during The Blitz. Learn about the need for rationing at the time. Learn about songs sung and the importance of keeping spirits up during this difficult time.
Explore what it was like to be an evacuee and move to the country.

The Drama Hut offers a wide range of workshops to choose from. Let us create a unique learning experience for your school.

Through consultation, we also offer tailored workshops to support topics of your choice. All we require prior to our visit is a clear space to work in and a member of staff to observe or join in the experience.

Please do get in touch through the contact page and with a drama workshop, we can help bring your children’s learning to life.
