I tell stories and tales to children, teens or to adults in a wide variety of venues and situations, including schools, libraries etc.

I have full CRB clearance.

I have a great repertoire of traditional stories, including myth, folk tales, fairy tales, wonder tales and local legends, and have available five “off the peg” themes which I can adapt for different ages and interests.

I can offer performances of 30 minutes or 1 hour, and can also offer a follow-up storytelling workshop if required. In schools I also offer full days (usually of 4 sessions and a lunchtime activity) or half days of 2 sessions. Storytelling with KS1 children will typically involve short tales with plenty of listener-participation, whilst longer and more complex stories will be told to KS2 and KS3 children.

I am always pleased to produce “made-to-measure” programmes for individual bookings, to match specific events, interests, locations or topics.

I live in Nelson, Lancashire, and am happy to travel by car to bookings up to 100 miles away.

“All the classes really enjoyed your visit.” Primary School Deputy Head, June 2011
